Luxury fragrance retailer Libertine Parfumerie has unveiled its flagship store in Paddington, Sydney.  This 15-year dream turned reality offers fragrance enthusiasts a unique haven on Oxford Street, easily accessible from popular shopping destinations and Glenmore Road.

The Japanese cosmetics giant continues its development in Asia. Like other cosmetics brands, Shiseido is banking on the growth potential of the Indian market with the opening of the first stores in the country for their Shiseido Ginza Tokyo and Nars brands.

The global women’s intimate care products market is poised for substantial growth, with market research firm Future Market Insights projecting its value to surge from an estimated US$28.9  billion in 2023 to an impressive US$43 billion by 2033. The forecast is based on a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of four percent during these ten years.

The Italian manufacturer of cosmetic solutions has inaugurated a brand new factory in Offanengo, in the province of Cremona, North of Italy, just three kilometers away from the company headquarters. Dubbed Argos, the new 5,000-square-meter facility will serve as a hub for the filling and assembly of makeup products. According to Chromavis Fareva, it is equipped with cutting-edge technology, and plans are underway to install new capabilities that will further elevate the company production capacity.

Unilever Ventures, the venture capital arm of the Unilever Group, has joined forces with True Beauty Ventures, a US based investment firm specializing in scaling beauty and wellness brands to make their first foray into the fragrance category. The two companies have acquired minority stakes in the Canadian clean perfumery brand The 7 Virtues.

The Brazilian cosmetics giant announced on Monday, October 30, that it has signed an exclusivity agreement with German private equity fund Aurelius Investment Advisory Limited regarding the sale of The Body Shop. According to Natura &Co, the terms and conditions of the sale are being negotiated and there is no guarantee that the transaction will be completed. However, several British media sources said the operation is expected to be completed in November at a lower price that what Natura paid to L’Oréal for acquiring the brand in 2017.

The Anjac Health & Beauty group is continuing its external growth strategy with the acquisition of the French company Stephid, a specialist in luxury perfumery. After two acquisitions in Canada — Pillar5 and Apollo, in 2022 — the manufacturer of cosmetic products, medical devices, drugs and food supplements is expanding its portfolio by taking over Stephid, a French company specializing in the manufacture of luxury perfumes, and high-end custom filling and packing.

Once a regional nail polish expert, IL Cosmetics has grown as a key player in the makeup category. The group will close the year with continuously increasing turnover, reaching the EUR 130 million mark in 2023. Considering the success of the make-up categories, which have doubled their revenue over the past three years, IL Cosmetics has launched an investment plan to support growth and international expansion.
