From Airports to Venue
① Form Shanghai Pudong International Airport
Taxi: ~30 minutes (30 km). Get off at Venue Entrance Hall 1.
Metro: ~1 hour. Take the Maglev train or Metro Line 2 to Longyang Road Station (Exit 9), then take a free shuttle bus to the venue. Alternatively, transfer to Line 7 to Huamu Road Station (Exit 2) for direct access to the venue.
②From Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport
Taxi: ~45 minutes (39 km). Get off at Venue Entrance Hall 1.
Metro: ~1 hour. Take Line 2 to Longyang Road Station (Exit 9), then take a free shuttle bus to the venue. Alternatively, transfer to Line 7 to Huamu Road Station (Exit 2) for direct access to the venue.
From Railway Stations to Venue
① Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
Taxi: ~1 hour (42 km). Get off at Venue Entrance Hall 1.
Metro: ~1 hour. Take Line 2 to Longyang Road Station (Exit 9), then take a free shuttle bus to the venue. Alternatively, transfer to Line 7 to Huamu Road Station (Exit 2) for direct access to the venue.
② Shanghai Railway Station
Taxi: ~40 minutes (21 km). Get off at Venue Entrance Hall 1.
Metro: ~50 minutes. Take Line 4 (inner loop) to Century Avenue Station, transfer to Line 2 to Longyang Road Station (Exit 9), then take the free shuttle bus to the venue. Or transfer to Line 7 to Huamu Road Station (Exit 2) for direct access.
By Metro to Venue
Venue Entrance Hall 1:
Direct access via Metro Line 2, Longyang Road Station (Exit 9).
Venue Entrance Hall 2:
Direct access via Metro Line 7, Huamu Road Station (Exit 2).
By Car to Venue
Ride-Hailing Cars:
Drop off at Venue Entrance 7 (Gate 7 of the Expo Center).
Self-Driving:
Park at P1 Multi-Storey Parking Garage near Venue Entrance Hall 3.
As the exhibition center (SNIEC) is located in Pudong New District, we recommend booking a hotel near the venue or elsewhere in Pudong New District.

Currency
Renminbi (RMB) is the only currency accepted in China. We strongly recommend exchanging enough RMB before or upon arrival in China. Currency exchange is available at Chinese airports. You can also exchange currency at local banks, with a daily limit of 500 USD.
Alipay (E-wallet)
Alipay itself is only available to Chinese citizens with a Chinese bank account. However, the app offers a feature called Alipay Tour Pass – a 90-day pass that allows foreigners to use Alipay while in China.
This means you can link your ordinary bank card to the app and use it for dining, shopping, and anywhere else Alipay is accepted in China.
How to set up Alipay Tour Pass:
- Download the Alipay app (available for Android and iOS).
- Sign up with your mobile phone number.
- Choose the Alipay International Version and select Tour Pass.
- Enter the amount you’d like to initially load.
- Add your bank card. If asked for ID information, make sure to enter your ID details exactly as registered with your bank.
- Complete the money load process.
Once set up, you can make Alipay payments anywhere in China that accepts it. Simply scan or show your QR code at checkout.
All restaurants and stores accept cash (RMB) and Alipay. Some restaurants and stores also accept Visa and Mastercard.
