The China General Chamber of Commerce released the latest data showing that in September, the prosperity index of China’s retail industry was 50.6%, rising by 0.5% month-on-month. It has risen for two consecutive months and reached a new high in eight months, with a clear positive trend in the development of the retail industry.
The “China Online Retail TOP100 Report (2025)” jointly released by the China Chain Store & Franchise Association and Deloitte China shows that the total online sales of the TOP100 enterprises exceeded 2.17 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 13.6%.

Jd.com’s sales in the first half of the year increased by 83.8% year-on-year, while Taobao and Tmall’s sales reached 2.735 billion yuan.
