Electrifying 2021

2020 was a challenging year, all walks of life suffered from the pandemic. Even in such a difficult time, China Beauty Expo (CBE) still maintained a considerable scale and helped exhibitors and buyers seize opportunities in this new era.

Additionally, in April 2020, "CBE Virtual Expo" and "CBE E- Academy" went live, helping CBE to take a foothold in the digital world. 

Furthermore, the CBE Cosmetics Design Conference in September, themed "Brand Innovation in the Digital Age", uses "design" to light up new concepts in the industry. And the “Precision Skin Care Forum” in November on the theme of “Year of Efficacy” gathered top experts from all over.

In 2021, CBE will extend from three days of exhibition to a non-stop, all-year, full industry display and communication services for brands, enterprises and channels from around the world.

January - Field Trips

At the end of 2020 to the start of the year, CBE started organizing road trips for its employees to visit brands and supply chain enterprises to discover meaningful insights and potential opportunities.

February - Enhanced Digital Platform

In 2020, CBE unveiled its "Virtual Expo". By the end of the year, it had attracted over 343,000 visitors. This year, CBE will continue to improve its virtual platform by incorporating into a mini program. 

March - CBE CEO Summit (Shanghai)

The annual CBE CEO Summit will be staged in March 2021 with the theme “Digital & Trend.” It will gather leaders from beauty enterprises and channels to discuss industry trends, while guiding the beauty industry in the new era.


April - Meiyi Awards & Meiyi Technology Awards

In April, the "Meiyi Awards" online voting will commence, covering more than a thousand top beauty products. The award will be divided into two categories: "Annual Beauty Products" and "Content Marketing Awards".

The "Meiyi Technology Awards", dedicated to the innovation of the beauty supply chain will include a digital content award this year.


May 12-14

The 26th China Beauty Expo

The 26th China Beauty Expo will be held on May 12-14 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (Pudong). Total exhibition area of 260,000 square meters is expected to attract more than 3,600 enterprises from over 40 countries and regions around the world, and the number of visits are expected to exceed 500,000.


The 26th CBE will continue to utilize "online real-name registration" and on-site "ID scanning." Pre-registration is recommended and a must for those that hopes to take part in the biggest beauty show in the world. 

2021 CBE Outstanding Brands

Thousands of excellent brands, high-quality enterprises at home & abroad and will be present at the expo.

2021 China Cosmetics Retail Summit

Authoritative and influential forum for the beauty industry in China. The 2021 China Cosmetics Retail Summit will focus on empowerment and how to guide enterprises under the new environment.

2021 International Cosmetics Advanced Technology Conference

This conference will follow the trend “Integration between business and personal internet” while comprehensively analyze “digitalization” in the beauty industry through consumer insights, strategies, technologies, product launches and others.

2021 International Cosmetics Aesthetic & Dermatology Conference                                                                         

This year’s program will focus on “efficacy” and “precise skincare”, gathering leading experts and scholars around the world for this high-end medical cosmetic skincare conference with new technology and practices.


July - SCBE

SCBE will be held from July 29-31 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, co-host by the world's three major beauty exhibition giants-Informa Markets, BolognaFiere and China Beauty Expo. With an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters and 1,000+ exhibitors, the exhibition will feature cutting-edge supply chains, brands and high-end professional line products.


August - CBE Tour in Northwest China

The CBE’s Tour of Northwest China will start in August. As the first regional tour of 2021, it will go deep into the front lines, inviting authoritative experts and leading brands to share latest trends, case analysis and practical interpretation, etc. , to help CS channel breakout.

September -

CBE Cosmetics Design Summit

Combining the upstream and downstream needs of the beauty industry.  This summit will invite design leaders, brand owners, leading enterprises and experts of supply chain to gather in Hangzhou to share the advanced trends, concepts, ideas and cases.

CBE Tour in Central China

The CBE Tour in Zhengzhou will be held in September. This show will gather industry experts from Henan, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong and Hubei province. This tour will focus on presenting new trends of the cosmetics category under the new situation in Central China, and jointly explore the hidden opportunities and future of retail cosmetics.


October - CBE Tour in Southwest China

In October, the CBE Tour in Chengdu will invite industry experts from Sichuan, Yunnan, Chongqing, Xizang and Guizhou province. As the final stop of CBE Tour, the Chengdu Tour will gather high-quality content and bring meaningful & practical experience to the scene.

November - CBE CEO Summit ( Guangzhou)

This is a full coverage and industry wide event covering cosmetics, supply chain and professional beauty. It will gather more than 1,000 elites such as TOP cosmetics enterprises, representatives of China beauty chain agencies, distributors, and industry experts to jointly build a new future for the industry with new thinking and technologies.



In 2021, CBE E-Academy will closely follow the latest trends and brand hot topics, to continue exploring streaming courses, and cooperate with leaders from brands, channels, and online platforms. It’s goal is to provide ideas of operation, problem-solving methods, and official traffic sharing for industry development, help private traffic accumulation, and create an intelligent beauty ecosystem.
