Exhibition organizer Shanghai Baiwen exhibitions Co. Ltd, an Informa Markets business, have confirmed the new dates
for China Beauty Expo 2020 (CBE) and Supply World 2020(SW) to be held on 9-11 July 2020 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). The event was originally scheduled for 19-21 May.
In light of the improving situation of COVID-19 in China, the government has announced that exhibitions will gradually resume from May 2020 onwards. With businesses starting to get back on track, rescheduling CBE and SW to July will help the beauty industry seize market opportunities during this critical period of economic rebound.
2020 CBE and SWwill together host over 3,600 exhibitors and more than 10,000 brands, covering the entire beauty supply chain and a comprehensive range of products. This year, the focus will be on rising trends such as imported goods, personal care tools, e-commerce, IP and licensing. A series of reputable industry events will also return, including the Meiyi Award, China Cosmetics Retail Summit, International Cosmetics Technological Advancement Conference, and International Cosmetics Aesthetic & Dermatology Conference.
The organizers are also excited to introduce the “CBE Cloud Strategy”, incorporating a “Virtual Expo” and the “E-Academy” to be held in the run-up to the physical events. Powered by OceanEngine (TikTok and Toutiao APP), Tencent and WeChat, the Virtual Expo will provide extended business opportunities through its E-Directory, Matchmaking and Live-Chat between exhibitors and buyers. The E-Academy will be a new hub for beauty trends, insights and knowledge sharing through Live-streaming.
